Swiss Riviera Wine Tours – S for stimulating, R for resourceful, W for worth every cent, T for tremendous. The four or us were privileged to spend 4 hours in the company of Nicolas and Lloyd who, after a most warm welcome when they picked us up, guided, informed, entertained and interested us. Impossible not to be taken up by their own natural enthusiasm. They were mines of information not only on wine-making and tasting but on the historical and geographical aspects of the region. Never a dull moment, thanks also to their sense of humour! Excellent value for money.
We reached out last minute hoping to join a group tour, and to our surprise, Nicolas offered us a private Riva boat experience instead. From the Vevey market to a lakeside picnic and wine tasting at Château de Chillon, everything was perfect. The boat, the views, the wine — and especially Nicolas’ company — made this one of the best tours we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to come back.

We discovered Swiss Riviera Wine Tours during the Montreux Jazz Festival and were instantly drawn to Nic’s beautiful Riva boat. The next day, we hopped on board and enjoyed one of the most scenic and memorable hours of our summer. From Chillon Castle to the vineyards of Lavaux and the peaceful nature reserve, everything was breathtaking. What truly made it special was Nic’s warm personality and deep knowledge of the region. It was a highlight of our trip and we’d recommend it to anyone visiting Montreux.
